Te’Shia B.

Te’Shia is a passionate Reading Tutor and Literacy Intervention Specialist with over eight years of experience helping elementary students become confident, successful readers. She holds a Master’s degree in Literacy Education, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Frostburg State University. Using the Science of Reading and evidence-based strategies, including Wilson Reading and LETRS-Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling, she provides personalized instruction that supports each child’s unique learning needs. Her goal is to make reading engaging while building strong skills in phonics, fluency, comprehension, and confidence. She believes every child can learn and grow with the right support, encouragement, and instruction. She enjoys partnering with families to help their children develop a love for reading and reach their full potential! Outside of teaching, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and trying new foods.
