Nichele B.

Nichele B. is a compassionate educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience in the classroom. She earned her B.A. in K-9 education through Eastern Illinois University and then earned her M.A. in Educational Leadership with a principal certification through Eastern Illinois University. Nichele is finishing up her second M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Instruction certification. Over the last 5 years she’s been using the Science of Reading in her classroom. She loved the growth she was seeing and took her education a step further and obtained Orton-Gillingham certification through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE). Nichele has been using Orton-Gillingham in her classroom during whole group and small group instruction to help students with their reading struggles. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. They like to watch movies, hang out with family and friends, and travel. Together they own a camper rental business which keeps them traveling to local campgrounds six months out of the year.
