Lori M.

Lori is a dedicated educator with over 18 years of experience working with students in Kindergarten through third grade. She has spent much of her career as a Title I teacher, where she focuses on making sure every child gets the support they need to become a confident reader. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Youngstown State University in 2002. In 2015, she began training with the Institute for Multisensory Education and completed her Orton-Gillingham practicum in 2016. Since then, she has used the Orton-Gillingham approach to support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges through structured, hands-on instruction. Outside of teaching, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their dog. She loves hiking, family game nights, listening to music, and planning her next travel adventure.
