Becky H.

Becky is a caring and resourceful special education teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting diverse learners. She holds a Master of Education in Special Education from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania certifications in Special Education (N–12) and Elementary Education (K–6), and Advanced Certification in 32° Masonic Orton-Gillingham Training, an International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council accredited program. Having served as a learning support teacher across grades 2–6 and a dyslexia tutor to students in grades 3-9, Becky delivers structured, multisensory reading instruction tailored to each student’s needs. She has extensive experience supporting students with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. By using student data to guide systematic, evidence-based lessons, she helps students build foundational reading skills and the confidence to achieve what they once thought was impossible. Outside of teaching, Becky has been married for over 30 years—spending 27 of them on a small farm with an entertaining mix of critters—and is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to two grandsons. In her free time, she enjoys road trips, gardening, cooking, baking, and family history research. Becky is excited to partner with families to inspire a lifelong love of reading!
