Jessica W.

Jessica is a dedicated, bilingual (Spanish / English) educator and Reading Specialist with over two decades of experience supporting diverse learners. Holding a Master of Education with a Reading Specialist endorsement from Northern Arizona University, along with degrees from Rutgers University and Arizona State University, she brings deep expertise in literacy intervention, curriculum development, and instructional leadership. Throughout her career across Delaware, New Mexico, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Arizona, Jessica has served as a Tier II/III Reading Interventionist, Spanish Immersion Teacher, and Special Education Specialist. Named Teacher of the Year (2019–2020) at Pleasantville Elementary, and again in 2026 at Wilbur Elementary, she is extensively trained in leading literacy approaches—including Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading System, Corrective Reading, and Read 180—and holds teaching certifications spanning Elementary Education, Special Education, Reading Specialist (PK–12), and ESOL. Outside of teaching, Jessica loves to read, play the drums, and watch movies with her family. She also loves going thrift shopping and going to Broadway shows.
