Sarah B.

Sarah is a veteran educator with 17 years of teaching experience and holds teaching certificates in Pennsylvania, Wyoming, and West Virginia. She is a certified Reading Specialist and currently serves as an Elementary Reading Interventionist for an online school. Sarah holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Reading Education, and is a proud graduate of Marshall University. Passionate about literacy, Sarah is Orton-Gillingham trained, LETRS trained, and well-versed in the Science of Reading. She believes learning never stops and has continued her professional growth through more than 30 additional hours of master’s-level coursework. Sarah resides in Pennsylvania, where she enjoys experiencing all four seasons and making the most of each one. Outside the classroom, she enjoys baking, gardening, and traveling with her family. She is also an autism advocate and a strong believer in creating accessible learning opportunities for all students.
