Kristina S.

Kristina is a dedicated educator with 15 years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher, literacy interventionist, and effectiveness coach. Throughout her career, she has worked to ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive as readers and writers. In 2022, she earned a Practitioner Certification from the Institute for Multisensory Education in Orton-Gillingham methodology, further strengthening her expertise in supporting students with dyslexia and other reading challenges through structured, multisensory instruction. She was honored as a “Colorado Literacy Champion” by the Reading League of Colorado in 2023 for her leadership in Science of Reading-aligned practices.
Kristina is passionate about helping students build strong foundational skills and grow into confident, independent readers. She believes in every child’s genius and is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based instruction that supports each student’s unique literacy journey. When she’s not digging into the latest literacy research or planning phonics games, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You can find her on the sidelines at her boys’ soccer games, skiing in the mountains, playing volleyball, practicing yoga, or reading at her favorite local coffee shop.
