Holding a bachelor’s degree in English from Towson University in Maryland, she has pursued graduate coursework in Urban Education at Notre Dame of Maryland University and earned a master’s degree in Reading Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Furthering her expertise, Antoinette holds an Orton-Gillingham Certificate and has engaged in post-graduate work to deepen her understanding of dyslexia and other language-based challenges. With nearly two decades of experience educating students across K-12 public and independent schools as a teacher, reading specialist, and one-on-one tutor, Antoinette takes pride in cultivating learning experiences that deliver explicit and systematic instruction designed to reach all learners, including neurodivergent learners, irrespective of socioeconomic status. Known for her genuine and patient demeanor, Antoinette is accountable and responsive, meticulously triangulates student data, maintains a laser-like focus, and develops individualized educational plans with her students’ long-term interests at heart. Beyond her professional endeavors, Antoinette is a proud wife and mother who treasures time with her husband, their three children, and their English Bulldog.
